The Soul Company, Inc.

1. Who we are

Soul, operated by The Soul Company, Inc., is a verified real-world network. Soul can be embedded inside apps and devices you already use (“partners”) to help their users meet in real life. We are the data controller for the Soul network; each partner remains the controller for its own user relationship.

2. What we collect

Account information you give us: your name, email, and city.

Connected-service data, only if you explicitly connect an account and consent. That covers music and audio, wearables and health, fitness and activity, finance, and lifestyle apps.

From any connected source we use the data only to derive affinity signals (for example “early riser”, “house music”, “~8:00/mile”). We store the derived signals, not raw exports, and we access only the scopes you approve.

Activity on Soul: the gatherings you RSVP to or attend, and check-ins at partner venues.

You choose what to connect, and you can disconnect any source at any time.

3. Health and sensitive data

Some connected services may include health or financial signals. We treat these as sensitive personal data. We use them only to match you to real-world gatherings and people. We never sell them, never use them for advertising, and never share raw health or financial data with partners, venues, brands, or any third party. We store coarse signals, not medical or financial records.

4. How we use it

  • To match you to gatherings, groups, and introductions with people you would get along with.
  • To generate and recommend real-world events tuned to your interests.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Soul network.

We do not sell your personal information. We run no ad network and use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our legal basis for processing connected-service data is your explicit consent.

5. What is shared, and with whom

Within Soul, other members may see your first name, your shared interests, and whether you are going to a gathering. One-on-one introductions are double opt-in. We never expose your raw feeds, exact health or financial figures, or contact details without your action. Partners and brands receive only aggregated, de-identified insights. A small set of processors (hosting, database, transactional email and messaging) run the service under agreements limiting them to that purpose.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your derived signals while your account is active and the relevant source is connected. Disconnect a source and its signals are deleted. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@soulverified.com. Deletion is permanent.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email privacy@soulverified.com.

8. Data from third-party platforms

When you connect a service, your use of that service stays governed by its own terms and privacy policy, and our use of the data complies with that platform’s developer terms. We access only the scopes you approve. You can revoke Soul’s access at any time from within that service or by disconnecting inside Soul.

9. Children

Soul is for adults. You must be at least 18 to use it. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes and contact

We will post any material change here and update the date above before it takes effect. Questions or requests: privacy@soulverified.com.
